I took the Test today 7.September.09. The Test is very heavy and contents Questions as above discribed. I pass with 317 from 500. I'm feeling much uncomfortable with this Score but the important Thing is that I pass. I'm a VCP 4 now.

I wish many luck to all other taking the Test

Regards

I took my exam on 2nd September and passed. As with the post above from Kbhagat, not many max/min questions (only had one I think, around vCenter), some VM troubleshooting ones around performance and network throughput. None on multipath, but some on NFS and iSCSI, some on resource pools and resource reservations.

Good luck everyone :-)

Andy,
Would you mind elaborating on “this vSphere content was only a small portion of the exam”? I have never taken a VCP exam before but will be taking the new test in the next week or so. Any guidance you have is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I just finished the VCP4 exam and your practice content definitely helped me prepare. I just wanted to comment for those that have never taken a VCP exam that this vSphere content was only a small portion of the exam I just took. I recognized a lot of questions from the old exam. Also, anyone know exactly how the new scoring system works? I noticed that a passing score is now a "300."

Hi Simon,

I fully agree about the restore part. But I would be careful with the backup part to call it "File level full and incremental backup". You can't use VDR to select some files and backup them.
