Max number of ports per virtual std switch: 4096 is the max but 4088 is the max creation ports so the question didn't clarify and by its wording the answer should be 4096. 4088 is the max you can utilize due to esx reserving 8 for it's own uses. Great material though...thanks for offering it...very helpful.
4096 is Total virtual network switch ports per host (vDS and vSS ports).

Minor point Simon, obviously first off thanks so much for a great resource, have my exam today. I think this question is misleading/phrased slightly incorrectly; "What is the Maximum LUN ID's?". This implies "What is the maximum LUN ID's?" rather than "What is the Maximum LUN ID?", which of course the correct answer given corresponds to. it's only misleading because both 255 and 256 are possible answers. Whilst 255 is the max LUN ID, 256 is the maximum number of discrete LUN IDs? And then there's the superfluous apostrophe also :)
